Course information

This course satisfies and exceeds the minimum standards mandated by Oregon law [ORS 166.291] for the permit application process.

The material covered will include: Basic handgun safety, law, ethics, and personal responsibility. This course will also go over home defense planning and other considerations.
‍
Completion of this course does not guarantee a CHL permit. A CHL permit depends on the applicant's participation, successful completion of Oregon’s application process, and passing the background investigations conducted by your county.

Note: Soft beverages and coffee will be provided. You can choose to bring a lunch or leave and grab lunch from a nearby establishment.Private and group classes available upon request.
